As terribly stupid as the initial picture commentary is, the first poster is actually correct in the sarcasm.  The Little Mermaid IS a rebel Christian. Though, at the end, because she makes the right choice, she gets to watch over the good little Christian boys and girls of the world after turning into sea foam. That’s the point of the story (though I like to pretend the last bit doesn’t exist, so it’s not religious for me XD ).
